February was the test roll; my first foray into the world of film. I had no clue what I was doing. My inherited Minolta SRT102 had a dead light-meter and apparent light-leaks. I did my best to comprehend the Sunny f16 rule and apply it accordingly. Yet despite adhering to the technical traits of the exposure triangle, what I love about film is how unintentional accidents can give life and motion to the unexpected. I believe I captured some of that below. My favourite accidentals are the over exposed towers and a double exposure of my Cat nestled on the table overlayed on a ponytail palm plant from another room. I’ve now manually repaired my light leaks and found the battery for the light meter - still much to learn…
